Hamper Stencilling & Personalisation: A Guide

Traditional wicker hampers are great, but they're even more special when branded with your own name or logo. We specialise in stencilling our wicker baskets, in fact, we've been stencilling some of the most famous logos onto the most famous hampers in the world for decades. The fantastic thing is that this kind of unique branding doesn't have to be restricted to larger companies. In fact, stencilling your hampers is an affordable way to create an eye-catching, professional and exclusive product, even in small quantities and with short lead times. 

The staff here will be happy to advise on the best way to achieve the result you are aiming for, as some logos and text works much better than others, so if you're interested be sure to get in touch. Still, we thought as an initial introduction it would be a good idea to briefly outline how stencilling onto wicker works, as well as some of the other branding options we can offer for your hampers in case stencilling isn't quite your thing.

What We Can Do:

In-house, fast stencilling for small and medium quantities of wicker hampers.

Stencilling in our factories for larger quantities (1000+).

What Works Best:

Classic black paint normally works best.

Stencilling works best on a flat lid, we have 2 standard hamper ranges that are ideal.

Big, bold letters. A wicker basket isn't a flat surface so intricate logos don't work well!

How Long It Takes:

From approval of artwork we aim to despatch stencilled wicker hampers within 1 week, depending on quantity and time of year.

If you require a larger quantity of hampers than we would normally stencil in-house (1000+) we also stencil in our factories, lead time is 10-14 weeks.

 

What It Costs:

For our in-house stencilling service there is an inital set-up charge of £50, which is to create the actual stencils used for spraying your wicker baskets

The only other cost is a small charge per hamper, which varies with the size of the hamper itself.

Printed Ribbon
 

 

1. Printed Ribbon. 

We can print your logo or text onto our stock of double-faced satin ribbon, even if it's just 1 roll! The costs involved are minimal, and the printed ribbon is another great way to brand your products. Perhaps consider tying a small loop of ribbon around the handle of each hamper to create a colourful, eye-catching form of branding.

Not only is printed ribbon a very affordable form of branding, it also has a very short lead time. We can normally even despatch your ribbon the same day that you order! 
 


Swing Tags


 

2. Custom Swing Tags.

Bespoke swing tags are another fantastic way to personalise your products, perhaps consider using the back of the tag as a space for a hand-written message.

The other advantage of swing tags is the very wide range of options available. You can choose different types of string, different materials (our personal favourite is beermat) and you can print in full colour to match your branding.

Lead time for swing tags is around 4 weeks from approval of artwork, with a minimum order of 1000.

3. Leather Luggage Tags.

If you a looking for a much more luxurious feel, a leather luggage tag is the way to go. We can source tags to your exact specification or company branding, in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.

Leather tags are produced using real, not faux leather. For the ultimate branding, they can be used in combination with a stencilled hamper to create an exclusive, unique item.

Lead time for leather tags is 10-14 weeks from approval of artwork, with a minimum order of 2000.

That said, if you are working to a short timescale many of our branding options such as printed ribbon and stencilling can be organised very quickly too.
