Are wicker bike baskets durable?

Yes! Customers can attach their bike basket to their bike for it to be used daily. They are designed to attach securely to handlebars using leather straps.

Are your bike baskets weatherproof?

Whilst natural wicker is strong and durable, it can wear. Our bike baskets have been varnished which adds an extra layer of protection, but we recommend storing them inside.

Do your bike baskets fit all bicycles?

We recommend you customers measure their bikes before coming into store to purchase a bike basket. We stock two different shapes and small or large. 

Is wicker sustainable?

It is! Willow grows quickly, allowing for twice-yearly harvests. It’s sustainable as the next crop grows from the same roots. Willow is also fully biodegradable.

How do you clean a wicker bike basket?

For displaying in store, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. You should avoid soaking natural wicker to prevent warping.
