Is your wicker sustainably sourced?

It is. Willow itself is a sustainable material as it’s fast-growing, allowing for twice-yearly harvests – the next crop grows from the same roots. It is also fully biodegradable.

Can you leave log baskets outside?

Whilst customers can take their log basket out to their store, we recommend that it's not being used inside, perhaps during summer, it’s kept in a shed or outhouse.

What is Kubu rattan made of?

Kubu is a durable and natural material that, like wicker, is handwoven to create strong, robust baskets. It can absorb moisture, so it’s best kept inside next to a fireplace.

How are your baskets made?

Willow is soaked for flexibility and skilled craftspeople weave each log basket by hand. A water-based varnish is applied for added durability.
