Celebrating Two Years B Corp Certified

Becoming B Corp certified was about formalising our commitment to operate responsibly across every part of our business - from the products we develop to the partners we work with and the impact we have on people and the planet.

Two years on, Earth Day feels like the right moment to reflect on what that commitment means in practice.

Why B Corp matters to us

Businesses like ours play a key role in connecting product design, manufacturing, and retail. The decisions made at this stage, from materials and production processes to supplier partnerships, can have a significant influence on environmental and social impact.

What we’ve learned in two years

One of the biggest lessons from the past two years is that responsible business is an ongoing process rather than a fixed destination.

Being part of the B Corp community encourages us to keep asking how we can do things better - whether that's improving how we measure our environmental footprint, strengthening supplier relationships, or finding new ways to reduce waste and improve materials.

Working closely manufacturing partners also highlights the importance of collaboration across the supply chain. Positive change rarely happens in isolation; it requires businesses, factories, and suppliers to move forward together.

Earth Day and the role of business

This is an opportunity to step back and consider the bigger picture. Environmental challenges such as climate change and resource use affect every part of the global economy, including the industries that produce and supply everyday products, like Gadsby.

We have a critical role to play in driving progress. By making thoughtful decisions about sourcing, materials, and partnerships throughout the supply chain we can help reduce environmental impact while continuing to deliver quality and value.

Looking ahead

Reaching our two-year anniversary as a B Corp is something we’re proud of, but it’s only one step in a longer journey.

Our focus remains on continuing to improve how we operate and how we work with our partners, from product development and sourcing to the way we support our team and customers.
