Gadsby Recognised: Positive Luxury ‘Good Supplier’
14 September 2026
We’re pleased to announce that we’ve been recognised as a ‘Good Supplier’ by Positive Luxury, in acknowledgement of our approach to ethical sourcing and supplier standards.
For us, responsible supply chain management is crucial to how we work. With a global network of manufacturing partners and more than 160 years of experience working with natural materials, we understand the importance of building strong, transparent, and accountable supplier relationships.
What is the Positive Luxury ‘Good Supplier’ programme?
Positive Luxury’s ‘Good Supplier’ programme helps luxury brands identify responsible partners across their supply chains. Suppliers are assessed against defined environmental, social, and governance criteria. Evidence is submitted as part of the vetting process.
The programme recognises suppliers that demonstrate ethical practices and a commitment to building more resilient and transparent supply chains. We’re proud to have met the requirements to be included within the Positive Luxury family.
Responsible sourcing at Gadsby
Building strong, long-term relationships with our manufacturing partners sits at the heart of how we work, alongside clear expectations around ethical practice throughout our supply chain. This includes independently audited ethical trading and modern slavery policies, as well as our Home Working Policy, which extends fair pay and safe working conditions to overseas production partners.
This approach also extends to how we run our own business. We’re targeting net zero emissions by 2045, with UK operations already running at 100% renewable electricity, tracked annually through independent verification with Planet Mark. As a certified B Corp, we hold ourselves to the same standards of accountability we look for in our supply chain.
Becoming a Positive Luxury ‘Good Supplier’ provides independent recognition of this approach and reinforces our commitment to working with suppliers ethically and transparently.
Supporting brands with responsible supply chains
For our customers and partners, ethical sourcing is increasingly important when selecting suppliers. Brands need confidence that the businesses they work with understand their responsibilities and can provide greater visibility across their supply chains.
As a ‘Good Supplier’, we’re better positioned to support brands looking for a partner that combines product expertise with ethical sourcing and supply chain management.
We see this recognition as an important milestone, not an endpoint. Responsible sourcing is an ongoing process, and we remain focused on strengthening our supplier relationships, improving traceability, and working collaboratively with our partners to drive positive change.
