Why do we still love wicker?

Wicker hamper baskets are versatile, stylish and incredibly eco-friendly. This makes them a great choice if you have a little more to your budget and want to make a luxury packaging range. Our standard stock is all handwoven and readily available in our UK warehouse (always check stock levels on individual hamper products before placing your order).

The hamper range that we offer has become more popular over the years, and that’s why we continue to add to the collection. What started as a selection of full wicker natural baskets has turned into a packaging range of various colours, including bronze and black, in more sizes than ever before. And we’ve now adapted the design to have vegan straps rather than real leather. Plus, there’s the option of liners, too.

We see the wicker hamper as one of the most reusable gift packaging options. Once given to the recipient, they are then able to reuse throughout their home, regift or recycle the hamper. A lot of your customers would keep the basket as a storage container within their home, depending on the size they have.

Is wood the new IT material

It is if it’s sustainable! Using wooden hampers in your range is a great way to increase your margins as opposed to more expensive materials such as wicker. Since starting our range, it has grown and that’s a sign of how the packaging market is growing, too. Our range is made from fast-growing Paulownia wood making it a good eco choice.

Our bottle boxes come in multiple sizes and two different colours. They’re not just perfect for wine bottles, but for other spirits, just make sure you know your measurements before buying the hampers. And it’s not just wooden bottle boxes, wooden gift hampers can add a touch of luxury to your range - ours come in 12 and 14-inch sizes.

The wooden boxes, much like the wicker hampers, then work within people’s homes or as something they can use to gift a present to someone else. Or, as they’re natural wood they can even be broken down and be reused or recycled in that way.

Small budget? Cardboard is your best friend

Card hampers aren’t to be sniffed at. The robust construction of our boxes and trays means they can be packed with products, in just the same way as wicker hampers and wooden boxes. The clean and modern style of the boxes means they work in many retail environments and within a range of themes.

This type of product is particularly good if you’re separating your gifts. For example, you can mix and match a cardboard gift box with a cardboard wine box to create an impressive display. What’s more, there’s a bit more design versatility with cardboard boxes which is why we’ve created our wicker print boxes and popular Mocbox® range.

Cardboard is probably less exciting for customers to reuse, but it’s still something you could use as leverage to sell a cardboard gifting range. Especially if the price is right. Your customer can reuse it around their home as added office storage, stationery storage and toy storage.

Small budget? Cardboard is your best friend

For sure! Whilst it’s a finishing touch to you, it’ll be the first thing your customer sees. Add ribbon around your hampers or, if you’re opting for wicker hamper baskets, use our pre-tied ribbon that comes in black and red to save you some time.

If you run a website and need to deal with online orders, transit packaging is also something to consider. You can fill your hamper with as much shredded paper as you like, but if you don’t protect the outside, then you’re wasting your efforts. Our transit boxes come in hamper and bottle boxes sizes, if you measure/ look at our measurements then the box will fit your chosen hamper perfectly.
