Our Round Lined Proving Baskets are beautifully handcrafted from sustainable wicker and lined with high-quality linen. They combine functionality with a traditional artisan look. Designed for professional and home bakers alike, this basket is ideal for proving 1kg loaves, helping dough maintain its shape and develop that perfect crust and texture. A smaller version, suitable for 500g loaves, and larger version, suitable for 1.5KG, is also available to suit different baking needs.
Each basket includes a linen liner with an elasticated edge that fits securely, covering approximately 40mm of the outer rim for easy removal and cleaning. Finished with a food-safe, non-toxic, water-based varnish, these proving baskets are safe, durable, and built to last.
